The Heritage Program at the Museum of Northern Arizona

The Heritage Program features four festivals as well as monthly insight presentations. They highlight the cultures of the Colorado Plateau and encourage communication and the exchange of ideas between visitors, educators, and artists.

Dancing with the clowns

Hello Everyone, thank you so much for checking out our blog. I must say these interns are just super and are doing a great job keeping up with all the multi-tasking and fast paced Heritage Program activities. The Hopi festival opens in 8 days!!! We have been getting calls from artists all day wondering if booths are available so I am anticipating a full house with over 70 Hopi artists. Check in tomorrow for an updated list of artists and the schedule for the weekend. Looking through pictures I found this one from 2008 when the Nuvatukay'ovi Sinom Dance Group (San Francisco Peaks People) pulled me on stage to dance with the clowns on Sunday morning. So fun!! And a blessing to be part of this festival. See you all here!!! Anne
