Hi All!
My name is Jasmine and I will be the Heritage intern throughout the fall here at MNA. The Navajo Festival was my first big leap into the museum experience. The lovely interns who had been here all summer helped me find my footing, I couldn't be more thankful to Carah, Courtney and Margeret. Tony Marinella made a slideshow of all the festivities, here is the link on Youtube:

This fall we are getting ready for the Celebraciones de la Gente Festival which will take place the last weekend of October. It will feature artists, music, dances, and of course, food! This will be the tenth year we celebrate Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). This holiday has ancient roots in Central America and is carried on by descendants of these old cultures. I look forward to seeing you here October 26th and 27th.
Enjoy the rest of your summer!
